OUR MISSION
Our Mission is to educate and provide mentorship to the socially and economically challenged Fresno-area youth and provide opportunities to participate in recreational, competitive & travel sports without regard to race, creed, religion, gender or ability. 
OUR VISION
Our Goal is to offer tutoring and educational programming, as well as effectively identifying those youth who have been lost or left behind in the traditional school system and help them deal with stressful events and process traumatic situations.
OUR SUPPORT
We will provide emotional support with positive reinforcement and promote effort in an inclusive learning environment. If we can keep youth off of the streets through various educational programs and sports. As a community, we can help keep our youth in school and create success in their lives.

WHO IS TROY TAYLOR?
Imagine having the guidance, positive mindset and motivation to succeed, but never given the opportunity to experience all that life has to offer, because your life was tragically taken too soon... This is what happened to Troy Taylor.

Troy was not your average teenager.

Troy was raised in a working class neighborhood that lacked the resources to keep children in school, active in community activities, and developing successful young adults. 

A natural-born leader, he radiated positive energy and possessed strong core values.

His peers gravitated to him. He was kind and compassionate to everyone, no matter their story. 

However, some of Troy's peers lacked these qualities. They were envious of Troy, and this would lead to Troy's death.

Troy’s peers were never provided these opportunities to lead a positive life, and turned to a life of crime instead.

Truly Reviving Our Youth (T.R.O.Y) exists today because of the tragic loss of Troy, which in large part was due to the lack of youth centers with the vital resources to help them develop.

The pressure our youth face such as being the best athlete, wearing the newest sports attire, or the economic status their family falls under should not make them believe those factors will affect their ability to succeed.

The T.R.O.Y. Center is helping the youth in your life grow up in a safer and more prosperous community.
OUR LEADERSHIP

Nicholas E. Butler Sr, President/CEO

Nicholas Butler (B.A., Sociology alumnus of Fresno State), was raised in St. Louis Missouri, where he attended McCluer High and Florissant Valley Junior College. He later transferred to Fresno State and played football as a wide receiver under Pat Hill and was on the Track and Field team coached by Bob Fraley. He has worked in juvenile correction for more than six years. 

Nicholas strives to pass on good morals and determination to the youths he works with by promoting positive core values. It is his desire to give the youth a new outlook on life and establish a deep-rooted sense of individual responsibility and pride.
